  • Interactive NYC Subway Map - A map of the New York subway system displayed using Google Maps. We’ve used this site to find neighborhoods near transportation.
  • Interactive NYC Mashup Map - Combining Google Maps with information from: traffic cams, weather, MTA Subway Advisories, del.icio.us links, images, police scanner, and more. All in a fun to use interactive interface using the Google Maps framework.
  • HopStop -Maps and directions using buses and subway in Manhattan and the boroughs.

  • Craigslist: New York City - Search for housing, jobs, events, and more. All posted by people in the community. Craigslist is a great resource no matter where you live, but is especially thriving in New York City.
  • Ask a New Yorker - Share your knowledge of New York , your opinions, ask some questions, answer some.

Job Search:

  • SimplyHired NYC Job Search - Search and submit your resume to multiple job sites at once using SimplyHired. Less hassle searching through different job boards.
